TEMPLETON - Eveline M (Johnson) (Lavoie) Beauregard, 86 of Templeton, died peacefully at home, on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born in Rumford, Maine on September 24, 1935 to her birth parents, Alphonse and Blanche (Rouleau) Johnson. She was lovingly raised in Gardner, MA by her foster parents, Reuben and Marie (Vautour) Arsenault. Eveline was a 1952 graduate of Gardner High School. Eveline was pre-deceased in 2001 by her husband Clement Beauregard whom she married in 1989. She was previously married to Gill Lavoie in 1954. Eveline was a wonderful stay-at-home mom when her children were young. She then worked at the family business of Screen Print and Design in Gardner, with Gill. Then she worked at Nichols & Stone until her retirement. Eveline was a woman of deep faith and she was a member of Holy Rosary Parish for 45 years. She was a current member of St. Paul’s Church in Gardner, where she served on the Altar Guild and was a member of the choir for many years. Eveline was often described as the spunky woman with a big heart. She laughed a lot and, a few years back, could often be seen driving through town in her red convertible with the top down in all kinds of weather. She loved to sing and dance, she loved nature and the ocean, doing daily crossword puzzles and to read. She also loved to travel, especially with her girls, providing so many wonderful memories. She loved to go shopping and watching Law & Order with her cat, Alex, who will also miss her. She was also a past member of the American Legion Post 129 Women’s Auxiliary. Eveline devoted more than 30 years to Al-Anon, helping many people. She leaves 4 children, Denise Lavoie-Whitney and her husband Les of Gardner, Celeste (Lavoie) Raduazo and her husband Rocco of Bolton, Michele (Lavoie) Cormier and her husband Normand of Templeton and Karen Lavoie of Savannah, Georgia. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Mary. She also leaves a brother, Lionel Arsenault of Baldwinville. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Camille Arsenault, Yvon Arsenault, Ernest Arsenault and Albertine (Arsenault) Collette. Eveline was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother going by several names; Memere, Ma B and “Grey Mere” She leaves behind her 5 grandchildren and their spouses: Jessica (Stewart) Connors and her husband Donald, Anthony Raduazo and his wife Sally, Krista (Cormier) Langlois and her husband Zachary, Timothy Cormier and his wife Laurie and Nicolas Raduazo and his fiancée Taylor, as well as 3 Great Grandchildren: Sheamus and Declan Connors and Everly Cormier. She leaves many nephews and nieces and many friends, whom she loved. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11 am in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 79 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be private at a later date. A calling hour will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 am in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 79 Cross St, Gardner, MA 01440. Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner is directing arrangements.
