Vero Beach, FL- Dorothy M. (Savoy) Robichaud, 93, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Athol, was welcomed into her Savior's arms on Monday, February 5, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1927 to Arthur and Rosanna (Delagarde) Savoy. Her husband of 71 years, Raynold Robichaud, passed away in December 2020. Dorothy was raised in Athol and attended schools there moving to Florida in 2015. She worked for L.S. Starrett Co. and the Massachusetts Department of Employment and Training, retiring in 1995. She attended Athol-Orange Baptist Church and loved to share the Good News of Jesus. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, and found her greatest joy on spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by her five children: Carol (Walter) Knightes of Vero Beach, FL, Diane (Terry) Sofie and Janice Marble of Sequim, WA, Nancy (Jeffrey) Lilley of Vero Beach, FL, and Alan (Loraine) Robichaud of Hoosick Falls, NY. She also leaves her 11 grandchildren: Matthew, Evan & Luke Knightes, Anthony Sofie, Nicole Tourigny Vautour, Ryan & Renelle Lilley, Jason, Kevin, Taylor & Jordan Robichaud, 11 great grandchildren, her sister-in-lawn Rita Savoy and her brother-in-law Norman Robichaud and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers Ishmael, Herman, Emerson (Buster), and Thomas Savoy. There are no services planned at this time. Burial will be at Silver Lake Cemetery.
