GARDNER- Danny A. Dunton, 50, of Gardner, died Monday, May 1, at UMass, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness. He was born September 7, 1966, in Keene, NH, son of Donna (Hutchinson) and the late Louis S. Dunton. He worked as a machine operator for corrugated box companies. He was a former member of the Eagles. Danny was an avid sports fan. He liked to play poker and enjoyed playing pool, watching sports, video games, and music. Danny was larger than life. He loved everyone and was loved by all. His kindness, generosity, and positive attitude will be remembered by all who knew him. He lived his life to the fullest. Besides his mother, Donna Plummer, he leaves two sons, Brendan Mason Dunton of Gardner and Ryan L. Dunton of Fitchburg; two daughters, KC A. Dunton of Gardner and Hannah S. Dunton of Fitchburg; one grandson, Cooper Mason; his twin brother and best friend, Denny Dunton, of Gardner (whom he referred to as just "twin"); his former wife, Naomi Dunton of Fitchburg and also Kristine Cackett of Gardner (both mothers of his children); brothers, Chris Kingsbury and Nate Plummer, both of Athol; two sisters, Kerry Kingsbury of GA and Amy Gravelle of Ashburnham; also several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Funeral services are private under the direction of Lamoureux-Fletcher & Smith Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Celebration of Life Will be held on Saturday May 20th at Gardner Eagles Hall, 71 City Hall Ave. 7pm to closing. Pot luck meal. Feel free to bring a dish to share.
