Barbara A. Dube

GARDNER - Barbara A. (Woodbury) Dube, 76 of Gardner, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Gardner on December 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Robert E. and the late Eunice M. (Moore) Woodbury of Templeton. She was the beloved wife of Jean-Emile Dube for 55 years. She was a graduate of Narragansett High School and received degrees from Mount Wachusett Community College. She retired as Dean of Admissions after 45 years of service from Simplex-Grinnell. She was a member of Annunciation Parish. Barbara loved to travel the Maine coast and enjoyed cooking. She was active in the shooting sports of trap, skeet and competitive pistol. Reading was her enjoyable pastime. She is survived by her husband, Jean-Emile Dube; her brother, George Woodbury and his wife Barbara of Baldwinville and many cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:00 am in Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Heywood Hospital Oncology Department, 250 Green St. Gardner, MA 01440.
