Arthur J. Yeblon

AATHOL – Arthur J. Yeblon, 90 of Royalston passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. Arthur was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1927, the son of the late Benjamin Yeblon and the late Evelyn (Schiller) Yeblon. Arthur graduated from James Madison High School in Brooklyn and went on to attend the Art Student League in Manhattan, Academie Julian, Paris, and Academia de Belle Arte, Florence, Italy. Arthur was an avid reader and spent his life painting and creating art. His work has been on exhibit in New York, Paris, and Florence as well as shown locally. Arthur is survived by two sisters: Harriet Roth and Elaine Sachs; three nieces: Bonnie Friegood , Andrea Deutsch, and Barbara Nathanson, and one nephew: Bruce Roth. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley Hubbards. Arthur also leaves behind many close friends throughout the country as well as a beloved neighborhood community whom he cherished, and was forever grateful for their many years of love, support, and friendship Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.
