Rita M (Osier) Renaud

BALDWINVILLE - Rita M (Osier) Renaud, 92 of 51 Hospital Rd., Baldwinville, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester, MA. She was born in Worcester, on July 1, 1924, the daughter of the late Clayton and the late Georgianna (Savageau) Osier. Rita grew up in Worcester. She was a stitcher at Worcester Knitting Co. in Salem Square in Worcester for many years. She was a member of Notre Dame Church and Blessed Sacrement Church when she was younger. She enjoyed sewing and made a lot of her children’s clothes. She leaves two daughters: Yvonne Galvin of Colorado Springs, CO, Diane Comet of Montpilier, France; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband: Ernest E. Renaud in 1995, her brother: Clayton Osier Jr, her two sisters: Lorraine Cadarette and Arleene LaForte. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. No calling hours are scheduled.
