Richard J. Baraby

BALDWINVILLE – Richard J.. Baraby 72, of Baldwinville died Saturday December 23, 2017 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. He was born on May 9, 1945 the son of Roger J. Baraby and Bernadette (Couture) Baraby. Richard worked for Star Container for 25 years as a corrigator operator, prior he was a trailer truck driver for 10 years. After his retirement he enjoyed doing landscaping with his son Steve. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bonfires and boating on Lake George. He loved having breakfast with his family, his dog Harry and feeding squirrels. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Strong) Baraby; three daughters, Lana DeFalco of Gansevoort, NY, Susan Baraby of Keene, NH, Victoria Baraby of Westminster; one son, Steven J. Baraby of Hinsdale, NH; one sister, Pauline Lizotte of Winchendon; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceaed by his son who was stillborn Richard J. Baraby on January 19, 1977. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 7 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
