Jacob Joseph Lovato

ATHOL - Jacob Joseph Lovato, 19 of Athol, died unexpectantly at home on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was born in Greenfield, MA, on October 31, 1997, the son of Kimberly Ann (Laukaitis) McGuirk and Che-Bon Jacob Lovato Jacob grew up in Athol and attended Athol Schools. Jacob was a free spirit, a great dad and loved his family. He was very close to his mother. He loved animals and was very loyal to his friends. He especially enjoyed playing disc golf with his best friend Luke Soucie. He leaves one daughter: Sierra Lovato of Athol; his fiancée: Samantha Blanchette; his mother & step-father: Kimberly and Robert McGuirk of Athol; his father Che-Bon Lovato of Athol; sister: Caitlyn Fredette and her husband Erick and their daughter Sofia Fredette of Athol; brother: Michael McGuirk of Athol; maternal grandmother: Maryann Harris of Orange; paternal grandparents: Triney Cano & Jeffrey Lawrence of Athol; aunts: Lisa Meuse and her husband Jason of Orange, Joanne & Barbara Laukaitis of Chelsea; Tamar Lawrence of Westminster; uncles: Robert & Henry Laukaitis of Chelsea; cousins: Kelsey & Austin Meuse of Orange; godparents: Kelly & John Walsh of Orange; many additional cousins and relatives in the Athol/Orange Area, Chelsea and Michigan. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Joseph Laukaitis in February of2016. Funeral services will be held at Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jacob's name made be made to a charity of one's choice.
