Cheryl Ann Cardinal

GARDNER - Cheryl Ann Cardinal, 58, of Gardner died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born August 18, 1959 in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Wilbert and the late Edna (Kenny) Wilkins. Cheryl grew up in Fitchburg, she attended Fisher College. She worked as a pre-school teacher at Adventure Kids in Leominster. She loved her dogs and animals and belonged to many animal groups. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean. She leaves her husband of 24 years, John J. Cardinal; one son, John J. Cardinal II of Gardner; one brother, Michael Wilkins of Gardner; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home 105 Central St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
